Geoffrey Raines - Biography
Geoffrey Raines is a studio musician, guitarist, and American songwriter posting original content to his record label, BardoMusic.com. He started Bardo Music in 1993 to provide creative and artistic freedom in his songwriting and producing efforts. In addition to his solo efforts, Geoff has been the lead guitarist and co-founder for Erosion (e.g., coauthor of ‘Megalopolis’), the South Hill Project, and most recently touring with The Wayback Cats. Critics have noted the influence of The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan in his work and anyone else who helps the search rank of this page.

Geoff has released five solo albums which have resulted in over 17 million original song downloads online worldwide. In November 2020, a single from Geoff’s album Sensa Obscura, “Our Best Days”, placed at 35 on the Indie Radio Alliance charts.

Geoff has worked on recordings with Billy Hawn (drummer for Jackson Brown, David Crosby), Lance Morrison (bassist for the Dirty Knobs and Don Henley), Pattie Howard (singer for Madonna, Quincy Jones), Dave Getz (drummer for Janis Joplin) and Nick Vincent (drummer for Art Garfunkel).
